Welcome to my point of view
A showcase for my photographs. That’s where you have ended up. My photos can be viewed all over the site but the galleries could be found under Exposure in the navigation bar. There is little coherent heading in my photographic work. Pictures I like to view is all that it takes to cut it. I try to shoot whatever I like to view. I hazard in to any corner of the photographic realm where I might shoot scenes I find interesting. But what does it take for me to like it? I’ve been pondering this for long. Colors - on their own enough to make a picture worth viewing, as well as shapes, crispy sharpness, dreamy blur, mystical contrasts or weird geometry also can be the sole reason to like a particular picture. On the other hand an event the picture depicts can be what makes it interesting, even though the technical quality is totally absent. Scenes of weird, fearful, playful, beautiful, thoughtful, typical or exotic phenomena all suffice for making interesting photographs. Sometimes it’s all about sentiment, be it nostalgia, pride or lost love. Sometimes a photographer manage to combine these attributes with technical photographic quality thence elaborate a truly great picture. Bottom Line - as in all art, a good picture evokes emotions, in the viewer or the photographer. That’s all it takes. The pictures on this site I find worth viewing for the aforementioned reasons. Hopefully you will find at least a few things that will arouse an, preferably positive, emotion for you. Dig in!
